New Bylaw for Sidewalk Cafe and Marketing Displays
Do you have a sidewalk café or marketing display outside your business in Riverside?

A new and harmonized bylaw for sidewalk cafes and marketing displays comes into effect on September 1, 2019. The new bylaw will modernize regulations, create consistent guidelines and standardize the application process. Existing conditions attached to permits issued before September 1 will continue to apply, but there will be updated fees and regulations that current permit holders need to comply with.

More information on changes to the permit application process and updated regulations for existing permit holders is available on the City of Toronto website.

CNE – Local Supporting Local
Exclusive and time sensitive opportunity for your business at the CNE.

This year, the CNE has created a new program called the Local Supporting Local Program! This is an opportunity for small and medium-size community businesses to promote their products and services at the fair; taking advantage of the huge traffic that the fair draws.

This will be a branded program with up to 3 businesses sharing space within a 10’x10’ tent. The CNE has allocated space within some of its highest traffic areas. There is limited space available on a first-come first-reserved basis, so make sure you contact Daniel Litwick at dlitwick@theex.com to book your spot.
