Sidewalk Sale for Sounds of Leslieville & Riverside
The Beaches International Jazz Festival is bringing ‘The Sounds of Leslieville & Riverside’ back to Jimmie Simpson Park and Queen Street East again in 2019.In addition to the great festivities in Jimmie Simpson Park, there’ll be an amazing line up of FREE live music at Riverside street closures on Lewis, Saulter, Boulton, De Grassi, and McGee, paired with sidewalk specials and food tasters from Riverside’s local restos and shops along Queen St. East!

On Saturday, July 6th and Sunday, July 7th, the Riverside BIA will have a permit from 9am to 8pm to hold a Sidewalk Sale in conjunction with the ‘Sounds of Leslieville & Riverside’ event.

Are you in need of any ideas? Here are some to get inspired!
Restaurants: Cook outside your restaurant with samples, have take-away street food or a BBQ.
Retailers: Consider having a sale, BOGO or raffle to drive up interest!
Services: Host activities, give a tour of your location or have a pre-sale of your service.

If you are serving food/drinks outside, you must complete the Toronto Public Health Form (please email completed form to marketing@riverside-to.com by June 21st)

TIPS:

  • Permits are valid until 8pm, enjoy the longer days outside!
  • Contact suppliers, so they can participate with you and/or maybe create a specific brand sale.
  • Why not create a customer appreciation event? Share with them about it in your newsletter!
If you would like to take part in the Sidewalk Sale or if you have any questions or concerns, please contact Lais at marketing@riverside-to.com or 416-303-4484.
