The Instagram photo with the most “LIKES” will win a $100 gift card to the Riverside establishment in the picture!
The contest runs until December 12th. So, what are you waiting for?
Tokens are tickets will be phased out by the end of 2019, and the paper Presto tickets that will replace them will create more barriers to accessing transit because they will have expiry dates and only sold at Shoppers Drugmart and TTC stations. Metrolinx and TTC are hosting a public townhall on December 11, and it’s our chance to ask them about their plans and raise questions and concerns.
Can’t make it in person? A link for the live-stream will be posted on our event page.

Prince Edward Viaduct Plaque Unveiling!
One of Toronto’s most recognizable landmarks, the viaduct links Bloor Street with Danforth Avenue and made the City’s expansion into the east end possible. The viaduct turned 100 this year and it remains a vital link in the City’s transportation network. The plaque will be installed near Danforth and Broadview Avenues.
Join Heritage Toronto, Councillor Paula Fletcher, Mayor John Tory and Toronto’s Poet Laureate, Anne Michaels for the unveiling of the historical plaque commemorating the history of the Prince Edward Viaduct.
Wednesday, Dec 12th, 10am to 10:45 am, at Playter Gardens, 4 Cambridge Ave (just west of Broadview and Danforth) Click here for full information.
