Riverside Antler Breakfast: An Irish Fry Up – Friday Dec 19th

Friday, December 19, 2014 @ 8:30AM – 10:30AM at An Sibin Pub – 709 Queen Street East
Join Chef Scott, The Riverside BIA and An Sibin Pub for the third annual ‘Riverside Antler Breakfast’.

Visit Here for tickets

An Sibin Pub will be cooking a traditional Irish Fry Up breakfast, complete with all the fixins. Every ticket holder gets a pair of souvenir antlers to wear at breakfast. Have a chuckle (at your antler wearing cohorts!), enjoy some delicious food, holiday music and neighbourly hospitality, all in support of a very worthy and local cause. Two seating times available.
While we are coming together to share in the holiday festivities , we are also supporting a great community initiative – The Rivertowne Community Breakfast.  Championed by Joan King of the Safety
First Program and the Rivertowne  Community Association  and the Ralph Thornton Centre, this local program provides children and youth who live in the neighbourhood with  a free warm breakfast once a week. Rivertowne is a mixed income community – one of the first that was built to support TCHC homes as well as market housing. Currently funded by local mothers it is a way to  bring the young people in the neighbourhood together across income groups and give them something to look forward to while building a sense of community.
If you work or live in  the East End, have a hearty Irish Fry-Up for breakkie and socialize with your neighbouring businesses while doing good.
Oh, and…did we mention….we will all be wearing antlers!!!
