Busy morning at the corner of Saulter & Queen St during this Saturday, May 4th Riverside Walks, free guided walking tours series of Riverside neighbourhood – is back for another season! Riverside kicked off the series of walks with the ‘Wild Plant Walk’ on May 4th, led by Clinical Herbalist Danette Steele.
Thank you to everyone that braved the morning drizzle and showed up to the walking tour! It was a busy morning at the corner of Saulter & Queen St!! On the east side, a huge success with SRCPC Stroller-a-thon and Bake Sale and on the west corner, people gathered since 10:30am to enjoy Danette’s herbal teas. There were Dandelion root tea, Nettle leaf tea and Hibiscus tea.

First Gulf Welcomes Province’s Transportation Announcement
The map unveiled by the Premier this morning includes an East Harbour station that will integrate both subway (Ontario Line) and GO service.
“The East Harbour Station helps to unlock a $10 billion private sector investment to develop an employment and business hub just east of downtown that will be home to over 70,000 permanent jobs, and is critical to the development of the entire area,” added Gerofsky, “First Gulf thanks Premier Ford for his government’s commitment to the station and looks forward to working with both the Province of Ontario and the City of Toronto towards starting transit construction this year.”
