‘Memories’ at the Saulter Street Gallery

From now until Sept 8, visitors to the Centre are able to view Memories, a breath-taking series of paintings and multi-media pieces by Ferida Dilmaghani.
Ferida works in the style of Abstract Expressionism, and most of Ferida’s works in this exhibition adopt the format of collages, joining contrasting and disparate images to create delightful and meditative works.

The Saulter Street Stairwell Gallery is located in the heritage staircase at the south end of the building, from 9am to 9pm, and can be accessed through the 2nd or 3rd floor.  Admission is free.

Toronto International BuskerFest

A showcase for hundreds of the most spectacular acts on earth – fearless, funny and wacky – see it all at Toronto’s wildly successful street performer festival!

Comedy, spontaneity and a dash of the unbelievable: 4 days and 4 nights of non-stop, action-packed, fun-filled entertainment. Comedians, contortionists, musicians, magicians, fire jugglers, acrobats, aerial artists, clowns and daredevils all come together for North America’s largest street performer festival.

Now located in Woodbine Park from Aug 30th to Sept 2nd!
Friday, August 30, Noon – 11pm
Saturday, August 31, 11am – 11pm
Sunday, September 1, 11am – 10pm
Monday, September 2, 11am – 8pm
