Leslieville Farmers Market

Welcome back for season #4!

The Leslieville Farmers’ Market swings into its fourth summer season at Jonathan Ashbridge Park (Queen St E between Greenwood & Coxwell) from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. It runs every Sunday until October 26th.

New to the market this year…..

Wine! Leslieville is one of the Ontario farmers’ markets that will now be hosting Ontario wineries. Each week, one of the following notable wine producers will be sampling and selling their products:

Green Lane Estate Winery: Known for sustainable practices and hand-harvested grapes
Stanners Vineyard: The first straw-bale winery east of the Rockies
Tawse Winery: Chosen Winery of the Year three times running at the Canadian Wine Awards

An ATM For the first time, market shoppers and vendors can make use of an on-site banking machine. All fees will flow back into market projects. The ATM hasn’t arrived yet so have cash on hand for the next few weeks.Surprise Vendors The market will support developing farm enterprises through a booth reserved for a rotating roster of new faces. Park Improvements There’s a new water bottle filling station on the west side of the washroom building (facing the wading pool) and new post-and-ring bike parking spots.
