REQUEST TO BUSINESS/PROPERTY OWNERS FOR SOME SPACE FOR A LOCAL RESIDENT TO START A SMALL MICROBREWERY AND RETAIL SHOP IN RIVERSIDE.

The BIA received a request from a local resident who is looking to start a small microbrewery and retail shop in Riverside. The vision of the brewery is to be local, fresh and community-focused.  They have a start-up budget and modest size requirements.  The are looking for500-1000 feet, with  high ceilings, and strong floor supports. Do you know of any property owners/tenants  who might be interested in sharing / renting their space?  Queen frontage is not necessary the back of a shop with an alley entrance would work.

Please contact the BIA if you are interested, or know anyone.

Ward 30 regular meeting on Tuesday, February 3 at the South Riverdale Community Health Centre (955 Queen St E) at 7:00 pm.
Presentation from Ryerson students  on cycling connections in Riverdale. Monday, February 9, 7:00 pm, at the South Riverdale Community Health Centre.
It would be great to see some representation from the Riverside BIA at any of these events. It would also be great to meet with someone from your organization to discuss how we can work together on issues of mutual interest.

NEIGHBOURHOOD NEWS

Thank you to all the BIA members who supported the South Riverdale Child-Parent Centre’s Mad for Kids Auction! The 2014 edition of the Centre’s annual fundraising event raised more than $15,000, thanks to the support of generous community members like yourselves!

The money raised will support programming at your non-profit drop-in.

The event was a fun night out for program participants and community members who bid in the silent and live auction, snapping retro photos at a photo booth, tasted scotch, and snacked at the food table.

We hope to have your continued support and your attendance at the 2015 auction!

With much appreciation for your generosity,
The South Riverdale Child-Parent Centre Fundraising Committee
