What’s the Best Burger in Leslieville?

What’s the Best Burger in Leslieville?

Now that’s a loaded question, kind of like the perfect burger. It all boils down to personal taste: Do you like your burger with cheese? Onions sautéed or raw? Are you team smash patty, or do you prefer something thicker and juicier? While there’s no single right answer, I’ve narrowed it down to 3 must-try burger spots in Leslieville.  Each one brings something different to the table, and I’ve rated them based on my own burger-loving biases.

Harry’s Charbroiled

📍 255 Coxwell Ave (Northeast corner of Coxwell and Lower Gerrard)

Taking over the old Coffee Time spot, Harry’s Charbroiled has brought energy, flavour, and foot traffic back to this increasingly busy intersection. Their crispy charbroiled patties and house-made sauces are standouts but the true star for me is their British-style fries: golden-crisp on the outside, soft inside. Pro tip: get them with the buffalo ranch.

Atomic Burger

📍 245 Greenwood Avenue (southeast corner of Greenwood and Gerrard)

A newcomer to the neighbourhood, Atomic Burger launched in June 2025 and it’s already earned a spot on my favourites list. With a great kids’ menu, delicious milkshakes, and perfectly crispy shoestring fries, this spot has something for everyone, including a vegetarian falafel burger! The beef burger itself features a classic patty with fresh toppings and their signature atomic sauce.

RUDY

📍 1330 Danforth Ave (right next to Greenwood Station)

RUDY is a dream for smash patty lovers. Their classic approach keeps things simple and satisfying. I highly recommend adding bacon and don’t skip the deep-fried pickle chips on the side.
