Here’s some exciting news from our Riverside BIA!
On July 11th at 11am Riverside will be celebrating the launch of the Riverside Wayfinding Markers and Public art installation. We will be recognizing all the contributors who helped make the Riverside Western Gateway Project possible followed by a ribbon and cake cutting.
The Wayfinding and public art unveiling will also be the start of the Riverside Art & History Walking Tour led by Former BIA Chair and Riverside History Aficionado, Ron Fletcher.
This Pan Am / Parapan Am inspired legacy project would not have been possible without our Sponsors and Partners, which include Rebecca J. Houston, who led the design of banners that will frame the bridge; Nick Chin of Ox Agency supported the branding of the monument; and Eldon Garnet was the founding bridge artist. This project grew from idea to inception thanks to public partnership with City of Toronto, Ward 30 Councillor Paula Fletcher, and private sponsors: Gold Sponsor – Streetcar Developments; Silver Sponsors – Hullmark Developments, and Downtown Automotive Group; and Bronze Sponsors – Ashlar Urban Realty, The Avro, BMO, Brightworks Interactive Marketing, Harhay Construction, il ponte, and OX Agency – all of whom shared our vision.
We thank you in being a community partner in this legacy endeavor, and hope to see you at the celebration on July 11th Please RSVP to office@riverside-to.com
